o        I would move the summer school to a smaller place so participants wouldn’t be so tempted to take time off in the centre which caused tiredness

The programme - we divided the timetable into four phases - do you think each phase built into the next to lead successfully to the end?

o        Link between theoretical and practical should be mentioned from the beginning

Our philosophy - please comment on the following:

·         a community of teachers, trainers and tutors

o        Very interesting

o        Fully accomplished in my opinion

o        I expected something more close - more social contacts

o        Friendly and supportive atmosphere

o        Achieved easily the tutors were very supportive and available all the time

o        Helpful, friendly, a lot of paying attention to each other

Our aim was that we should be product-led but process-centred - these questions ask you to reflect on your learning of methods and techniques connected with:

·         intercultural approaches in FLT

o        Because of the number of international teachers this year the intercultural approach in FLT was better presented, expressed and understood – I became more culturally sensitive

o        Something completely new

o        Teaching everyday issues, stereotypical for common textbooks, from a cultural studies point of view

o        It helped me pay more attention to the practical side of investigating cultural issues

o        Learnt skills to share with other people in my country

o        Learned a lot to use in the classroom

o        Difficult to do in the school

o        Not too many novelties yet it was a pleasure to brush up my knowledge

 

·         material writing skills

o        I was able to write and prepare quicker than before

o        The mini-projects really gave the opportunity to develop material writing skills and focus on the objectives of bringing culture into the classroom reality

What have you learned on the theme of Food?
