The following links can be recommended as stepping stones to DNA-related stories and events in Britain. They include organisations involved both in the history and modern applications of the discovery of DNA.
The Medical Research Council, the Royal Society and Nature have joined forces to coordinate a programme of DNA anniversary events in Britain.
The Cavendish Laboratory is the Department of Physics of the University of Cambridge. The department is part of the School of the Physical Sciences. Visit them at http://www.phy.cam.ac.uk/ The Medical Research Council's Laboratory of Molecular Biology is also at Cambridge.
