How do people view the EU and Europe from outside? In this set of activities you will be finding out a little about what people think when they are on the outside looking in, discovering a bit more about some of the countries of the EU, and sharing your thoughts and ideas with your partners.

• What kind of attitudes are expressed in the picture?
• What does this say about attitudes to Europe from the outside?
• Do you agree with the ‘message’ in this cartoon?

Now complete this grid with ideas of your own:
